Each week throughout the high school sports 2023-24 competitive seasons, KSRM/ESPN selects a Peninsula Sports Athlete of the Week from each of the central peninsula’s three public high schools.
For the week ending October 31st:

- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is volleyball player Jaycie Castillo
- Castillo had 18 digs 4 assists in win vs Soldotna and 15 digs, 4 assists in win vs Nikiski.
- Leading the pack for the Nikiski Bulldogs is volleyball player Evelyn Reichert
- Reichert had 13 kills over the past weekend.
- Selected for the Soldotna Stars is diver Abriella Werner
- Werner is the Region 3 Champion, and broke the Region Championship dive record in the process.
- Representing the Kenai Kardinals is volleyball player Jaycie Castillo
