Peninsula swimming and diving programs competed virtually on Friday providing an opportunity to compare results though technology.
The Kenai Peninsula Virtual Swim Meet featured each peninsula swim program hosting in-house swim meets (intra-squad) and the results compiled by computer to determine individual and team results.
Peninsula swim teams, at this time, will be afforded an opportunity to compete in person on Saturday November 14th at the Region Swim Meet at Homer High School.

Peninsula swim teams suspended competition in early October when COVID-19 levels on the Peninsula rose into the High “Red” Risk Level throughout the peninsula. ASAA (Alaska Schools Activities Association), on October 13th cancelled all state level competition for in-season, fall sports (volleyball and swimming on the Kenai). ASAA did provide for regional tournaments (or peninsula tournaments for the Kenai Peninsula) to be completed by November 21, 2020.
Area swim programs are schedule to compete at the Region Swim Meet on Saturday, November 14th at the Homer High School Pool. The meet is set to begin at 12:15 p.m. and will be streamed live for spectators.
