Polling locations in Soldotna, Sterling, and Kenai have reportedly had lines out their doors today, but Kenai Peninsula voters voiced dissatisfaction with the choices on the ballot.

This unidentified voter said he was unhappy with the Presidential Candidates on the ballot…

“Just fed up with the whole thing right now, I’m voting because I feel I have to, it’s my right, duty.”

Another expressed the same sentiment, saying he’s tired of candidates in all of the races focusing on each other as opposed to addressing the issues.

“If we can get to platform issues and get some comfort in having backbone to say, ‘I stand for this’, you fill find that there’s a lot of egg throwing in your face but it’s a lot easier than what’s been demonstrated.”

This controversial election seems to have many Alaskans on edge, as very few people volunteered to share who they voted for.
