Post 20 & Eagle River Drop Games To Lower 48 Teams

The annual Bill Miller Big Fish Wood Bat Tournament, an American Legion Baseball invitation tournament hosted by the Kenai Post 20 Twins, continued play on Wednesday, July 3rd with two games at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.

 

The tournament features teams from the lower 48 which includes Auburn Post 20, Rhode Island and Napolean Post 300 (River Bandits), Ohio.  Alaska-based teams include Eagle River and the host Post 20 Twins.

 

Wednesday Game Results

Napoleon, Ohio 9 – Post 20 Twins 3

Auburn, Rhode Island 18 – Eagle River 0

 

Napolean, Ohio will face Auburn, Rhode Island in the tournament championship game scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 4th at Coral Seymour Memorial Park. Post 20 and Eagle River will play in the 3rd-place game set for noon.

Kenai Twins 12 – Eagle River 2
Napoleon (OH) 9 – Eagle River 6

Wednesday, July 3: All Games @ Oilers Park

Eagle River 0 – Auburn (RI) 18
Napoleon (OH) 9 – Kenai 3

Thursday, July 4:  All Games @ Oilers Park
9 a.m. Championship Game
12 p.m.  Third Place Game
