The 2017 American Legion Baseball State Tournament opened play on Tuesday with four games at Mulcahy Park in Anchorage.
The Post 20 Twins, seeded 8th based on the regular season, fell to the tournament’s #1 seed Juneau 14-0.
Juneau scored six runs in the first inning in route to the victory. Juneau collected 12 hits and the Twins managed three hits.
The Twins continue play in the double-elimination bracket with a noon game on Wednesday at Mulcahy Park against Dimond Post 21. Dimond fell to South in round one 10-2.
