The Post 20 Twins American Legion baseball team opened a six-game home stand with a pair of victories over Chugiak Post 33 on Wednesday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park in Kenai.
Post 20 Twins 2 – Chugiak 1 league game
The Twins literally steal a conference game from Chugiak scoring the game-winning run in the sixth inning of game one of Wednesday’s doubleheader on a designed break and steal play to plate the winning run. Post 20 downs Chugiak 2-1.
In the sixth inning with runners on the corners, Paul Steffensen broke for second, drew a throw back to first and Cody Quelland scored the game winner, stealing home.
Post 20 Twins 7 – Chugiak 4 non-league game
Harrison Metz earned the win on the mound for the Twins.

The Post 20 Twins improve to 4-0 in league play.
The Twins will host Service on Friday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park, doubleheader action beginning at noon. The Twins host Kodiak on Saturday, again a doubleheader beginning at noon.
