As of roughly 10:15pm there was a power outage that is currently affecting the majority of the Soldotna area.
HEA crews are responding to the outage that is affecting 2,786 members but at this time the cause of the outage is not known.
We spoke to Joe Gallagher with HEA for more.
Gallagher: “A part of the Soldotna area is being impacted right now and we’ve got our crew responding we’re trying to pinpoint the problem We don’t know exactly at this point what we’ve got going on. I expect it’s going to last, best case scenario about another hour.”
