Homer Electric Association has restored power to the 224 customers affected by this afternoon’s outage in the Kobuk area of Soldotna.
HEA’s Joe Gallagher…
Gallagher: “Homer Electric Association experienced a power outage just before noon in the Soldotna area near Kobuk Avenue. HEA crews discovered a fault on the underground line, near West Redoubt and Kobuk Street, HEA crews were able to respond to that and have power back on to the neighborhood at 3:20 this afternoon.”

Crews of Homer Electric Associations are responding to a power outage that began around noon in Soldotna.
The cause of the power outage is unknown but power is expected to be back on in the next few hours according to HEA’s Joe Gallagher.
The outage is affecting 224 HEA members in the Kobuk area.
