The 2017 Region III Track & Field Championships, featuring a total of 15 teams from throughout the Kenai Peninsula, Anchorage, Southcentral and the Mat-Su Valley, opens two days of competition on Friday, May 19 at Homer High School.
The Region III Championships will be competed in two divisions, Region III 3A and Region III 4A, with competition determining region champions and qualifiers to the ASAA 3A and 4A State Track & Field Championships. Performances at the Region III Championships are the only qualifiers to the state championships based on ASAA guidelines.
