The King Cove Rookies, 2019 1A basketball state champions, rolled through Kenai and rolled over the Kardinals 82-32 in non-divisional basketball action on Wednesday night at KCHS.
1A All-State player Elaina Mack lead the Rookies with 40 points. Kailee Hamilton topped the Kardinal girls with 14 points.
Kenai hosts Eagle River on Friday at KCHS with girls and boys varsity games scheduled for 6 & 7:30 p.m.
