The 2019 Kenai Peninsula Run for Women, the 32nd annual event supporting the Lee Shore Center in Kenai, is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th.
The event includes two certified races, a 5K and 10K course on a multi-looped, paved road winding through the streets of downtown Kenai. Courses are wheelchair accessible. Registration is open to women and girls of all ages. To promote healthy families, male youth age 17 and under are encouraged to enter.
Online registration is available at www.leeshoreak.org/run-for-women or in person at The LeeShore Center until Friday August 9th. Early Bib Pick-Up will be Friday, August 9th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Seaman Building located on 601 Frontage Rd. Kenai, AK 99611.
Race Day Schedule:
Start and Finish line is located at the Kenai City Park on Main Street Loop. (Across from First National Bank of Alaska)
Park at First National Bank/Old Carrs Mall lot.
Check-in is from 8:00 a.m to 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Group stretch & warm-up will be held at the park at 9:45 am.
