Running & Biking Events Fill July & August On Tsalteshi Trails

July and August are filled with weekly running and biking activities highlighted by the Wednesday night Salmon Run Series and the Thursday night Soldotna Cycle Series events.  The Tsalteshi Trails also serve as the host site for the 2019 Rotary Unity Run.

 

Salmon Run Series

The Salmon Run Series continues the 5-week series on Wednesday, July 17th.  The Salmon Run features a five kilometer event and a kids 1K run each Wednesday on the Tsalteshi Trails through August 7th.  Each night’s racing begins with a 1K kids run followed by the main 5K event.  Start time scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

 

Soldotna Cycle Series

Soldotna Cycle Series returns Thursday July 17th with the race starts and finish at the top of the sprint hills.  Racing starts at 6:15 for the 6-kilometer and 12-kilometer events.  A Kids Ramble begins at 5:45 p.m.  Race registration begins at 5:45 p.m..

 

Rotary Unity Run

The 2019 Rotary Unity Run is scheduled for Saturday, July 20th on the Tsalteshi Trails.

Information Release…

The 15th annual Rotary Unity Run is hosted in partnership with the Kenai River Rotary Club of Soldotna at Tsalteshi Trails. Help.  Proceeds from this family friendly race will help finance local and worldwide projects (https://www.rotary.org/).

This year’s race will have both 10-k and a 5-k route options as well as a 1-mile family/kid-friendly option. Race routes will be posted in the event details page.

Registration is $25(individual)/$50(family) with a $5/$10 discount for TTA or Rotary members and includes a T-Shirt while supplies last. Members use code “TTAMEMBER” while registering online here to receive the applicable discount:
