Santa Claus will be visiting Nikiski Fire Station #1 tonight before he begins his journey around the world this week.
NFD Public Information Officer Bud Sexton says everyone is very excited.
Sexton: “Santa’s going to be here from 5:30 up until about 7;00 o’clock. So I encourage families to come out, it’s a great opportunity to see our fire trucks, a lot of kids really love seeing all of our fire apparatus. It’s just a real good time to enjoy the holidays and gives us the opportunity to say thank you to the community for the opportunity to serve them as we do everyday.”
Nikiski Fire Station #1 is located at milepost 17.9 of the Kenai Spur Highway.
