School Board Work Sessions to Address KPBSD Pools, Healthcare

In two days worth of work sessions, the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will pick up issues like district wide pool protocols and teacher healthcare.

 

Pegge Erkeneff with the district said that work session will begin at 8:30 am tomorrow.

 

Erkeneff: “We have two work sessions today, Monday. At 3:15 is the class size report, and at 3:30 is projected enrollment and that one will last until 4:00 and those are all in the Assembly Chambers and public is welcome to attend those are not taped.”

 

Erkeneff explained the purpose of the enrollment projections.

 

Erkeneff: “That looks at what our class sizes district wide with all of our different schools and it’s a very very detailed look at how many students are in all of our classes and that’s done every year.”

 

Today’s School Board  work sessions will hear a Finance report as well as a Five Year Pupil Enrollment Projections report.
