A school bus traveling from Soldotna High, Skyview Middle, and River City Academy schools to home was involved in an accident at Rustic Ave and Echo Lake Road on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 3:04 p.m.
According to the Kenai Peninsula School District, Route 136 was rear-ended, traveling from local schools to home drop-off locations, and was involved in an accident.
Twenty-seven students were on board the bus when it was involved in the accident. Paramedics were sent to the scene to assist the driver of the vehicle involved.
Another bus was brought in to transport students. All students were delivered home by 4:08 p.m., according to the Kenai Peninsula School District.
