Both the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and Kenai Peninsula College will have abbreviated schedules next week in observance of Thanksgiving.
District Superintendent Sean Dusek detailed elementary and high school closures.
Dusek: “On Wednesday [November 25] we do have an early release for students, they’ll be leaving 90 minutes early and don’t forget, it is Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday of next week and there will be no school.”
Regular courses at the Kenai Peninsula College locations will take place Monday and Tuesday, November 23-24.
Campuses will be open Wednesday, November 25,without courses taking place and close November 26 – 29 in observance of the holiday. All KPC locations will re-open and classes will resume at 8 am, November 30.
