The Sterling Community Center is holding their “Junk In The Trunk” sale on Saturday, May 30, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.. Vendors and sellers are invited to participate. Admission is free for buyers.
For vendors, spaces cost $10 each and include the use of a ten-foot table and two chairs.
Melissa Daugherty, Vice-President of the Sterling Community Center Board, offers details on what folks with junk in their trunk should do to participate: “It’s $10 per space, and with the space, you get a table and two chairs – you can also do it right out of your trunk, if you’d like, but we are keeping the social distancing to spread out in the parking lot. It will be outside, and it’s only $10 to come and join us. It’s this Saturday from 10 until 6. It’s absolutely free to come and stroll around, to look at the junk, but the $10 is for the table to set up. We also are welcoming vendors, so it’s a pretty cheap way to get out $10 to come set up.”
The event will be outdoors, but to maintain social distancing, spaces will be six to ten feet apart. The Sterling Community Center also strongly suggests that masks be worn at all times by sellers and buyers.
