U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken faces criticism about the exit from Afghanistan. He insists it was time for the U.S. to get out of Afghanistan after 20 years. Blinken testified in a senate hearing and labeled it America’s longest war, stressing that the president had a choice when he took office – to end the war or escalate the conflict.
