Senator Peter Micciche wants to hear state concerns from local residents and will host a town hall meeting tomorrow at the Kenai Peninsula College.
Sen. Micciche: “Typically what I think is the healthiest about them is the Q & A interactions with my constituents.”
He says Wednesday’s agenda for the community meeting includes…
Sen. Micciche: “Our Sustainable Budget Presentation, talk about some of the upcoming issues, one of them oil and gas tax credits, we’re going to talk about some of the bills that are in the queue, we’re going to talk about some of the issues but clearly the number one issue this year is going to be a sustainable budget going forward.”
Sen. Micciche conducted a survey of District O constituents regarding how Alaska should proceed with it’s current budget deficit earlier this year. He will be revealing the results of the survey which 700 local individuals participated in.
That town hall meeting, which will feature free pizza, will begin at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 2, in room 106 of the Ward Building.
