U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s plea to America saying that the Ukrainians could win. Those sentiments were echoed in a press conference following President Zelensky saying that what’s unfolding is a terror in Europe that hasn’t been since World War II.

Sen. Sullivan said that the Biden Administration needs a paradigm shift:

Meanwhile, Alaska’s senior U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski recently criticized the decision from the Biden Administration to not send fighter jets to Ukraine. That decision reportedly came over concerns from Administration officials about how the U.S. could facilitate the delivery of the aircraft, stating that flying the jets into Ukraine could provoke Russian military forces, which Murkowski disagreed with, saying that Ukraine needs the jets to counter Russia.

Murkowski also said that this is the time for the U.S. to help the people of Ukraine in this war Putin perpetrated, stating that Ukraine is not safe. In addition, she said that democracy and freedom in other parts of the world are threatened.
