Golf courses on the central peninsula have a variety of late-season tournaments scheduled to close-out September and close-out the golf season.
Bird Homestead Golf Course
The Kenai River Brown Bears Players Golf Championship is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 at the Bird Homestead Golf Course. The format is a four-person, best ball scramble with the tee times set for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Early registration ends Friday with some late registration at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cost is $300 per team with the event serving as a fundraiser for the Kenai River Brown Bears.

Birch Ridge Golf Course
The Birch Ridge Golf Course hosts the 2020 Cold Weather Classic on Saturday, September 26th.
The tournament format is a male/female, scotch two-some, with alternating shots. Registration is $100 per person (pass holders are exempt from $30 green fees).
Start time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. 18-hole tournament.

Birch Ridge Golf Course
The Pars in the Stars, glow ball tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th beginning between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m. This is the second year of this night event which is a fundraiser for the SoHi Boys basketball team. A 9-hole, four person scramble format with glow balls included.
