Setnetting in the Kasilof River Special Harvest Area will open for fishing at 8:00 pm this evening until 6:00 am Saturday, August 1.
Drift gillnetting will also open in the KRSHA from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015, and from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
That Alaska Department of Fish and Game announcement also opens set gillnetting in the Kasilof Section of the Upper Subdistrict within 600 feet of the mean high tide mark of the Kenai Peninsula shoreline from 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015.
Finally, this commercial fishing announcement opens commercial fishing with drift gillnets in the Expanded Kenai and Expanded Kasilof sections of the Upper Subdistrict, and the Anchor Point Section of the Lower Subdistrict on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
