Kenai Peninsula Borough Emergency Manager Dan Nelson stated, “Be sure to visit covidvax.alaska.gov to review your eligibility and to make an appointment. Coming up Saturday the 13th there will be some very large clinics happening in Soldotna as well as Kenai. There’s a great time to get your vaccine right now. You can choose between all three types of vaccines, the Moderna and the Pfizer, which require two doses. We also now have the Johnson & Johnson, which is a single dose vaccine. You can choose the one that’s right for you.

Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anne Zink will join Kenai Peninsula Borough Emergency Manager Dan Nelson for a live Facebook broadcast Tuesday, March 16 at 5:45 p.m. on the KPB Alerts Facebook page. Dr. Zink will speak on the benefits of vaccines, and address misconceptions about COVID vaccinations. Details to submit questions prior to the broadcast will be posted later this week on the KPB Alerts Facebook page.
