The Seward Chamber of Commerce has opened their annual logo design contests for three of their headlining events.
Executive Director Cindy Clock…
Clock: “Every year we have a logo submission contest, not just for Mount Marathon race but also for our Halibut Tournament and our Silver Salmon Derby. The committees for each event get to pick the winning logo design and then the winner, besides a little bit of fame, gets $200.”
Art may be submitted from around the Peninsula and the winner’s design has the potential to be reproduced on t-shirts, posters, and other promotional items.
The Seward Halibut Tournament has the same guidelines as the Silver Salmon Derby contest and takes place between June 1-30 of 2016. This was last year’s winner.
