UPDATE: As of 3:47am Sunday morning, The Seward highway was opened for both north and south bound lanes at mile 76.
The Seward Highway was closed due to an accident involving two vehicles at mile 76, just before the turn towards Turnagain pass, just before 11pm, Saturday night.
Emergency officials on the scene said that four people were transported to area hospitals, but the extent of the injuries are unknown.
