Kenai Peninsula residents with an interest or concerns about the overall transportation planning for Southcentral Alaska and in the City of Anchorage, can attend the 2023 Anchorage Transportation Fair set for Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Alaska Airlines Center on the campus of the University of Alaska, Anchorage.

 

The Anchorage Transportation Fair is designed to inform the public on road, rail, pedestrian, air, and safety projects being planned and designed in the Municipality of Anchorage and projects extending on the Seward and Sterling Highways.

 

The Anchorage Transportation Fair will also include information on Seward Highway and Sterling Highway, State of Alaska projects including:

 

Featured Projects for discussion involving the New Seward Highway include: Seward Hwy/36th Ave Interchange and the Seward – Glenn Mobility Planning & Environmental Linkages Study.

 

The Anchorage Transportation Fair runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Alaska Airlines Center.
