Seward Nonprofits: Time To Apply For $200,000 In Grants

Author: Jason Lee |

Attention nonprofit organizations providing aid towards mental health, alcohol or substance misuse, obesity, or preventative care needs in Seward: there is a grant that could help your nonprofit continue its efforts, partnering with Providence Health and Services of Alaska.

This year, $200,000 is being allocated for the community of Seward as part of Providence Medical Center’s Partnership Grant application process. The deadline to apply is right around the corner: October 15.

In a release issued by Providence, they encourage organizations or groups to apply. Specifically, organizations or groups that provide services or those who aim to focus on a specific need for the Seward Community.

Completed applications are due to [email protected] by October 15. Applications received after that date will be considered for funding at the next review cycle, which will be Fall of next year, so timely submission is important.

Priority will be given to applicants that address needs identified in their Community Health Needs Assessment, or those that align with the Mission and Vision of Providence.

Interested parties are advised to utilize the application template, located on Providence Alaska Foundation’s website.
