The road closures scheduled for President Barack Obama’s visit will impact Seward schools release schedules.
All Seward schools will begin at normal times, however some will release early in order for students to get home before the hard closures go into affect.
Seward Middle and High School will release early at 1:45 pm to ensure buses can drop students off and return to pick up elementary students.
Students of Seward Elementary who live in town will proceed with a normal school schedule.
Students who live on the north side of Dieckgraeff Road towards Exit Glacier Rd will board buses later than usual at 3:15 pm.
After school activities and events will occur normally.
