The 2017 Middle School Kenai Peninsula Borough Track & Field Championships, with finals contested on Saturday at Soldotna High School, featured seven teams from throughout the Kenai Peninsula Borough.
Skyview Middle School captured both the girls and boys team titles. The Kenai Middle School boys finished second; the Homer Middle School girls recorded a second in the team scoring.
Multiple event winners from Skyview and Kenai Middle School included:
Ellie Burns of Skyview recorded double, gold medal performances in the girls competition with victories in the 400M and 800M events.
Kenai’s Maison Dunham recorded three victories in the boys competition with wins in the 800M, 1600M and high jump.
