With low temperatures and the possibility of snow Saturday, we asked Binkley Street Project Manager Lee Frey what drivers should keep in mind when approaching roundabouts.

Frey: “It’s going to be a little bit of a learning curve as it always is when snow hits, it seems like people forget how to drive on snow the first time it comes down, so again it’s going to be just make sure that you are approaching slowly so that if you see someone coming from the left and they have the right of way you’re going to want to make sure that you’re going slow enough that you have time to stop.”

 

Previously Frey said the City is working to encourage drivers to slow down at all times while approaching roundabouts and will be implementing additional signage.
