Round 2 of the Small Business Economic Relief Grant (SBERG2) program opened Monday, October 19.
Small Business Economic Relief Grant 2 is designed to respond to the continued economic hardships that Homer businesses have suffered due to lost revenue as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated health mandates. The City of Homer, using Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding, has allocated $1.77 million to be distributed through this program. All Small Business Economic Relief Grant 1 grantees ARE eligible for additional funds.

Paper applications can be picked up at the Clerks office’s outdoor cabinet starting Tuesday, October 20th because Homer City offices were closed yesterday in observance of Alaska Day.
The application process will close on Sunday, November 1st at 5 PM.
