ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A light earthquake was felt throughout the Kenai Peninsula and in the Anchorage area, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
The Alaska Earthquake Center says the magnitude 4.0 quake hit just before 1:30 p.m. Monday, and was centered about 30 miles southwest of Anchorage.
The temblor was located at a depth of about 24 miles.
