The Soldotna soccer teams, playing in the Peninsula Conference in Division II soccer, traveled to the Valley for non-conference pairings against North Pole and Colony High School. The North Pole Patriots play in the Mid-Alaska Conference in Division II soccer and the Colony Knights play in the Railbelt in Division I soccer.
SoHi Girls 2 – North Pole 1
The Soldotna girls recorded their first victory of the season with a 2-1 win over North Pole High School from Fairbanks. Zayra Poage scored two goals for the Stars.
SoHi Boys 1 – North Pole 1
The SoHi boys played to a 1-1 tie against the Patriots with a single goal by Brock Poe.
SoHi Girls 0 – Colony 1
The Colony Knights shut-out the Star girls on Saturday at Colony High School. SoHi moved to 1-1-1 on the season.
SoHi Boys 2 – Colony 6
SoHi’s Maleda Denbrock opened the game’s scoring 10 minutes into the first half and Silas Larsen scored in the second half for the Stars. Colony scored five, first half goals.
