Kenai 6, Redington 0
Kenai continued to look sharp defensively and dangerous offensively. Zane James scored a hat trick, while Tyler Jackman, Cole Langham, and Diego Huerta added goals. Kenai still hasn’t allowed a goal this season outside of penalty kicks or own goals.
Homer 15, Nikiski 0
Nikiski, with just 11 players suited up, was outmatched by Homer, who saw 15 different players score. Bulldog keeper Emily Brannen turned in another courageous effort, while Frank Nasibog remained a bright spot in the field.
Saturday, May 3
Soldotna 3, Kenai 1
In a battle of rivals, SoHi completed a season sweep of Kenai. Lane Hillyer opened scoring on a PK rebound, and after Kenai equalized via a Langham penalty, the Stars answered with headers from Daniel Heath and a breakaway by Hillyer for the final dagger.

Wasilla 2, Kenai 1
Kenai couldn’t overcome a quick Wasilla start, falling again to the Warriors just days after a tight tournament final loss. Katie Johnson scored in the 47th to bring Kenai close, but the Kards were unable to draw level.
Friday, May 2
Kenai 6, Redington 1
After a 1-1 halftime tie, Kenai blitzed Redington in the second half. Katie Johnson recorded a hat trick, and Brynnen Hanson, Kate Wisnewski, and Christine Goering added goals in a complete team effort.
Saturday, May 3
Kenai 1, Soldotna 0
Kenai pulled off its second 1-0 win of the year over Soldotna. Johnson was again the hero, scoring off a feed from Hanson in the 56th. The Kards’ defense held strong, and Maddie Malone earned another shutout.
