The Kenai and Nikiski soccer teams face Northern Lights Conference teams on the road opening with the Kenai girls at Houston on Thursday.
Kenai Girls 4 – Houston 0
Four separate players scored goals for the Kenai girls in a 4-0 defeat of the Houston Hawks in Division II soccer action at Houston High School. Kate Wisniewski opened the scoring with a first half goal, followed by a Tait Cooper goal for a 2-0 Kenai lead. Leah Fallon and Kori Moore scored second half goals for Kenai. Maddie Malone recorded a shutout in goal for the Kardinals.
