The bracket is set and the Kodiak Bears earn the #1 seed for the Northern Lights Conference Softball Tournament scheduled for May 28-29 and hosted by Houston High School.
The #4 seed Soldotna Star girls will open the tournament on Friday, May 28 at 11 a.m. against host #5 seed Houston in the #4 vs #5 play-in game. The winner will advance to face Kodiak in the 4 p.m. contest. The #2 Homer Mariners faces #3 Palmer in the 1:30 p.m. Friday, with the winner advancing to Saturday’s championship game.
Tournament Note: The Kenai Kardinals have elected to not play in the conference tournament due to low player numbers.
The NLC softball tournament qualifies two teams to the 2021 ASAA Division II Softball Championships.
