The final series of the regular season for SoHi baseball opened with a 10-2 victory over Kodiak on Friday at the Soldotna field. The Stars and Bears pairing-up for two conference games before the Southcentral Conference Baseball Tournament next week.
SoHi 10 – Kodiak 2
The Stars offense pounded-out 10 runs and Jacob Belger lead the Stars with three RBI. SoHi’s Addicus Gibson struck-out nine Kodiak batters in a complete game, seven-inning outing for the victory on the mound.
SoHi scored seven runs in the first three innings, six runs in the second inning, to lead 7-0.
SoHi and Kodiak return to the diamond on Saturday, May 22nd for the final regular season game for both teams.
Soldotna High will host the Southcentral Conference Baseball Tournament at the Soldotna fields on Thursday-Saturday, May 27-29.
Tournament seeding will be determined following the completion of the regular season games.
