The SoHi Stars baseball team evened its tournament record at 1-1 on Thursday with a victory over Kodiak at the 4th Annual Buddy Dale Baseball Tournament in Wasilla.
SoHi 10 – Kodiak 5
The Stars, in just their second game of the season, found their offense with a 10-run effort on Thursday to defeat Kodiak 10-5 in Buddy Dale tournament play. Trailing 3-0 in the third inning, SoHi scored three runs in the third and added seven runs in the fifth. Andrew Pieh closed with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief for the save.
The Stars face host Wasilla on Friday in the 6:30 p.m. game in Wasilla.
