The Soldotna Stars baseball team earned an automatic berth to the ASAA Division II State Baseball Championships with a 2nd-Place finish on Saturday at the Southcentral Conference Baseball Tournament.
The Kenai Kardinal baseball team, with a 3rd-Place tournament finish, also qualify to the state championship in Division II.

The Stars defeated Kenai 11-3; fortunately, both teams should receive automatic berths to the ASAA Division II State Baseball Championships hosted by Wasilla High School and scheduled for June 2-4.
