The Soldotna Stars baseball team improved to 7-1 in the Southcentral Conference of Division II baseball as SoHi recorded a 13-2 victory over Homer to open the final week of the baseball regular season.
Atticus Gibson pitched four innings allowing only one earned run and striking out six batters; Riley Johnson closed with two, no-hit innings. Levi Mickelson lead the Stars offense going 3 for 4; Nate Mowery had two runs and two RBI; Jacob Belger scored three runs.
SoHi closes the regular season on the road with three, straight games against Valley opponents beginning Thursday at Houston. Kenai baseball hosts Grace and Kodiak to close the regular season.
