The Soldotna Stars baseball team, third in the Southcentral Conference tournament, opens play at the 2021 ASAA Division II State Baseball Championships with a first-round pairing on Thursday, June 3rd against the Monroe Rams at Wasilla High School.
The Soldotna Stars face the Mid-Alaska #2 seed Monroe Rams at 10 a.m. on Thursday; the Rams enter the tournament as the runner-up from the Mid-Alaska conference. Tournament games are scheduled for the Wasilla High School field . The Southcentral Conference qualified five teams to the eight-team tournament, awarded two of the three available at-large positions.
