SoHi Football Faces Kardinals On Friday: Stars Prep For Playoffs; Kards Close Season

The Stars and Kardinals are back on the schedule with the re-scheduling of the SoHi-Kenai game to Friday, October 9th.

The game will be played at Soldotna High School’s Justin Maile Field with a 4 p.m. varsity game time.

The extension to the schedule developed with the ASAA football playoff schedule moving the Division II football opening round to October 16th-17th and the ASAA Division II championship game moved to October 24th.

 

Division II Football Playoffs: Update

The Soldotna Stars will host a semi-final playoff game against Eagle River on Friday, October 16th at Soldotna High School.  The game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time with mitigation measures and protocols in affect.

SoHi is the Kenai Peninsula top seed to the tournament; Eagle River represents the Anchorage School District.

The Palmer Moose, from the Mat-Su School District, and the West Valley Wolfpack, representing the Fairbanks School District, will play on Saturday, October 17th in Fairbanks.

Soldotna earned the top Kenai Peninsula seed with a victory over the Kenai Kardinals.  West Valley upset Lathrop 22-21 last weekend in the Dog Bowl in Fairbanks to earn the final berth to the Division II state playoffs.
