The Soldotna Stars football program has only won two games immediately following a loss in the past 10 years of high school football–But then–the Soldotna Stars football program, before last week, had only loss two games in the past nine years. Stats can be misleading; so can the Stars loss last week to the Lathrop Malemutes.

SoHi heads to Chugiak on Friday to face the Mustangs in a 6 p.m. varsity contest under the lights at Chugiak High School.
The Stars, coming off a 27-21 loss to Lathrop, look to refine and fine-tune the Full-T offense and firm-up the defense against the Mustangs, who are new to Division II football in 2021. Chugiak stands at 1-1 on the season with a 17-14 overtime win over Homer and a 30-6 loss to North Pole.
