The Soldotna Stars football program advanced to the #2 position on the national high school football consecutive win streak list, according to the Stateline Sports Network; the Stars recording a 53rd-straight victory in week four of the Alaska high school regular season.
The Stars defeated Oregon’s Crater High School 20-7 to advance to 4-0 on the 2017 season and to improve to 53 consecutive wins for the Soldotna High School football program.
