The Soldotna Star girls finished a three-game sweep at the 2018 Clark Cockrane Christmas Classic in Ketchikan with a 43-34 victory over Lathrop in the girls championship game on Saturday.
The Ketchikan boys topped Lewis & Clark ( Spokane, Washington) in the booys championship game.
SoHi Girls 43 – Lathrop 34
The Soldotna girls outscored Lathrop 10-0 in the fourth quarter for a 43-34 victory over the Malemutes. Lathrop lead 34-30 late in the third quarter before going scoreless for nearly 10 minutes. SoHi wins the girls championship with tournament victories over Craig, Thunder Mountain and Lathrop.

SoHi Boys 42 – Bishop Blanchet 55
The Soldotna boys fell in the 4th place game 42-55 to Bishop Blanchet of Seattle, Washington.
Metlakatla 53 – Nikiski Boys 50
The Bulldogs battled Metlakatla in the seventh place game on Saturday, dropping the contest 53-50.
