The Soldotna Stars will battle the Homer Mariners for the ASAA Division II State Hockey Championship, SoHi qualifying to the championship game with a 6-0 shutout of the reigning 2019 state champion Palmer Moose at the Patty Ice Arena in Fairbanks.
SoHi and Homer will face-off in the 5:00 p.m. game on Saturday for the 2020 Division II State Hockey Championship.
The Kenai Kardinals advance to the 4th Place Game with a 6-2 victory over Tri-Valley. Kenai will face Glennallen/Tok in the noon game on Saturday.

Corbin Wirz recorded a shutout in goal for the Soldotna Stars as SoHi qualified for the championship game on Saturday against the Homer Mariners with a 6-0 victory over Palmer. SoHi goals were scored by: Trent powell, Gavin Hakkensen, Galen Brantley III (2 goals), Journey Miller and Josh O’Lena.
Homer 7 – North Pole 1
Homer, the top seed into the Division II championships, defeated the Aurora Conference champion North Pole Patriots 7-1.
Kenai 6 – Tri-Valley 2
The Kardinals downed Tri-Valley 6-2 to advance to the 4th Place game to battle Glennallen/Tok. Kardinal goals scorer by: Jacob Begich (two goals ), Miles Marston, Daniel Shelden, Tucker Vann and Landen Cialek. Tommy Baker recorded 22 saves in goal for Kenai.
