The Soldotna Stars and Homer Mariners hockey teams faced-off for a fifth time in the 2014-15 high school hockey season, with SoHi traveling to Homer for North Star Conference hockey on Tuesday at the Homer Ice rink.

SoHi held-off a late charge by the Mariners for a 3-2 NSC victory.

The Mariners charged back mid-way through the third period, scoring a pair of goals and outshooting SoHi 11 to 3 in the period.

For the game, Homer outshot SoHi 28-16.  SoHi goalie Billy Yoder turned-away 26 shots.  The Stars netted goals on two of the first three shots taken in the first period.
