Due to rain across the Kenai Peninsula the Southcentral Conference baseball tournament has been moved to start on Friday May 26th. With the move comes the addition of a new location, the Soldotna Little League fields.

The Soldotna Stars baseball team enters the Southcentral Conference baseball tournament as the #2 seed and the Kenai Kardinals earn the #4 seed for the three-day, conference championship which is scheduled for Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27 at split venues Corral Seymour Memorial Park and Kenai Little League Fields.
SoHi opens against #7 Homer on the Oiler Field at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Kenai plays #5 Houston at 1 p.m. on the Kenai Little League Fields.
The Soldotna Stars recorded a 10-2 conference record; Kenai finished conference play at 6-4 and the Homer Mariners own a 2-8 record.
