SoHi Offense Proves Unstoppable In 55-26 Win Over West Valley

Eight offensive possessions and eight touchdowns for the Soldotna Stars offense as the Stars overpowered West Valley 55-26 in Division II football on Friday at SoHi’s Justin Maile Field.

 

SoHi 55 – West Valley 26

The Stars improved to 3-0 on the regular season with a third, dominating performance and a third 50+ point effort by the SoHi offense.  The Stars scored on every possession, all eight touchdowns on the ground.  Seven different ball-carriers combined for 438 yards on 48 attempts.  SoHi’s starting quarterback Brayden Taylor scored the first touchdown before being injured and junior quarterback Zac Buckbee guided the Stars final seven touchdown drives.

The SoHi defense held West Valley scoreless until the final play of the first half; West Valley score three, second half touchdowns, as the Stars rotated numerous athletes on the defensive side of the ball.
