In the finest performance of her swimming career, Lydia Jacoby won the girls competition at the 2021 SoHi Pentathlon.
OK. Aside from a little meet called the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
At the 2021 SoHi Pentathlon on Saturday, a change of venue from SoHi to KCHS had no effect on Lydia Jacoby as the 17-year-old Olympic gold medalist broke the 5-event total time record, the 100IM record, and the 50 Breaststroke record. Jacoby also won the 50 Freestyle and finished third in the 50 Backstroke. Kodiak’s Amaya Rocheleau won the 50 Backstroke event.
For the boys competition, Ian Rocheleau topped the boys’ field winning four of five swims: 100 IM, 50 Butterfly, 50 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle.
